Articulating Booms - Electric and Bi-Energy

The Genie DC and Bi-Energy machinery produced by Terex provide emission-free and quiet operation in the most sensitive work applications. For example, in industrial settings where the machinery must travel significant distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the benefits and versatility of a diesel fueled generator utilizing a 48 Volt DC equipment.



Important features which this combination provides is out, up and over positioning capabilities for complete flexibility. In addition, the zero tail-swing provided by nearly all models, combined with the tight turning radius provides easy maneuvering through standard doors and narrow aisles.



Drive controls and proportional lift controls also offer precise boom positioning and smooth drive performance. The 48V DC electric drive system provides quiet and emission free operation suitable for sensitive environments. There are jib boom models on the market to function with an additional working range for specific jobs. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform which rotates to either side at an angle of 90 degrees.



Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine

Genie machines by Terex are ideal for both outdoor and indoor construction applications. This particular model provides engine-powered articulating Z booms that combine extreme lifting versatility and over, up and out positioning capabilities. The outreach offered by this particular type is the best in the market.



Diesel engine machinery on most modes have an articulating boom which provides zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These machinery are great in small or narrow locations. Furthermore, they offer utmost power, excellent torque and terrain and grade maneuverability. The diesel engines are generally quiet too. Most models have full time drive positive drive traction system and active oscillating axle to provide great flexibility on surfaces that are uneven and rough.



The 4 or 2 wheel drive models, provide high ground clearance and the rough terrain features which make these desirable to add to any fleet. The jib boom models are available and offer extra range capabilities. On non-jib types, the self-leveling platform also rotates to 90 degrees on these models as well.
