Lull Telehandlers
Since 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machinery have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system provides a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete all your requirements, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If both accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you require.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, numerous attachments have been engineered and developed such as winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to place materials more precisely. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures in order to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the upper or center floors. New attachments and products are being designed and developed all the time and would be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices could automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the extension of the boom and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
