End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control forklift is an extremely flexible machinery and is common in the material handling business. These equipment have superior performance features that are quite similar to sit-down electric forklift units.
Ideally, these forklift truck models are suited for warehousing operation settings which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are usually less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These equipment are an excellent alternative for applications that require frequent off and on access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading equipment utilized by a variety of businesses who maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and materials which are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent alternative for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
The standard reach truck model is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping tines that move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The tines also include a hydraulic system that enables the driver to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just provides a lot more balance to the whole load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
Once the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic forks swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide without problems, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
