Heavy Forklifts
Hyundai is targeting a new customer base with their new array of heavy forklift trucks. Various businesses, from the concrete and natural stone industries, to the steel industry, the railway sector and the transportation of heavy goods in the ports are all working with and relying on heavy duty equipment. The efficiency and power provided by the models keep operational costs low and offer the best conditions for efficient work. These machinery can excel in the nearly all tough environments.
The Cummins diesel engines ranging from 162 horse-power to 250hp offers the necessary power on all of the large capacity models. TierIII emission standards are met with engines which have 6 cylinders. These types of forklifts can take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It provides for a high climbing ability on rough terrain and steep slopes and offers great acceleration as well.
The operator is able to use a switch in order to choose 1 of 2 driving modes. While in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on heavy loads or difficult terrain. In the "STP" mode, the trucks can save a lot of fuel during light-duty work. In addition, simply by pressing a switch, the operator could automatically maintain a chosen speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is another fuel saving feature. The forklift's fully automatic transmission gently shifts through the gears, making the machinery comfortable to operate and simple to maneuver.
The well-ventilated cabin offers a spacious and comfortable working place. The cabin combines fatigue-free work with high performance. The powerful heating and air conditioning system helps ensure the operator is comfortable inside. The cab was designed ergonomically to provide a bird's eye view of all of the controls, in addition to the unit's overall safety. An MP3 player and a CD player put the finishing touches on providing the nice atmosphere that Hyundai equipment are supposed to have.
